Smithson Valley High School is a public high school located near Spring Branch, TX just north of San Antonio up the HWY 281 corridor. It is part of the Comal Independent School District and is one of three high schools in the district. Smithson Valley High School is zoned for students who live primarily in the southwestern Comal County area, including the community of Bulverde.

Smithson Valley HS was established in 1976 and was named after Benjamin Smithson, who was a member of the Texas Rangers.

The High School serves over 2,000 students with the school mascot being the Rangers and school colors of Navy Blue and White.
